Edgar Matos,
Edgar Matos is an experienced attorney for Chubb's Long Island New York House Counsel office of the Cariello Law Firm. He has been with the firm since 2003. Edgar handles litigation and appellate practice in both State and Federal courts. Areas of practice include labor law, premises liability, products liability, and motor vehicle cases. Prior to joining the Cariello Law Firm, Edgar was a Trial Attorney with Hoey, King, Toker & Epstein and the New York City Law Department, Office of the Corporation Counsel, representing the City of New York in tort actions including premises liability, labor law, false arrest/imprisonment and civil rights matters.

He is a regular Continuing Legal Education presenter for both staff counsel and the Claims Department on such diverse litigation topics as premises, labor law and motor vehicle liability, as well as the discoverability and use of social media content. Mr. Matos served as both a member and officer of Chubb's Claims Diversity Counsel, facilitating various initiatives including an employee mentoring program.<
