Thomas B. Ferris,

Thomas Ferris is an Attorney in the Casualty Practice Group of Chubb's New York House Counsel firm of Eustace, Prezioso & Yapchanyk. Prior to joining Chubb's House Counsel, Thomas was a senior trial attorney at the Law Offices of Joseph J. Rava & Associates, where he handled New York labor law and complex litigation matters for Harleysville and Nationwide from case opening through appeal since inception of the group in 2015.  Prior responsibilities included handling a civil litigation caseload in State and Federal Courts from inception through appeal.  Cases involved labor law, products liability, toxic tort, medical malpractice, errors & omissions, premises liability, property damage, insurance law and auto.  Thomas has conducted over sixty (60) jury trial to verdict (including liability and damages) and perfected over twenty (20) appeals.  Thomas also conducted contract and coverage analysis as it pertained to his assigned cases as well as handling coverage analysis while working for panel counsel.  Thomas currently defends all types of civil and commercial litigation matters, including general negligence, premises liability, products liability, labor law, municipal law and property damage.  Prior to entering the private sector, Thomas was appointed to serve as a Deputy County Attorney in the County of Nassau, New York from July 1990 to March 1994 serving in the Bureau of Major Litigation and Appeals.
