Medical Expenses, Emergency Medical Evacuation and Repatriation Expenses
The policy provides cover under the Medical Expenses, Emergency Medical Evacuation and Repatriation Expenses section. In the event an Insured Person requires medical assistance, medical evacuation or repatriation assistance, the Insured Person or Policyholder should contact Chubb Assistance as soon as possible for advice.
Post Journey Medical Expenses
The policy provides cover under the Post Journey Medical Expenses section. In the event an Insured Person requires medical treatment within 7 days of returning to their Country of Residence, following a business trip, the policy will provide cover for such medical treatment.
Trip Cancellation and Curtailment
If, during the Period of Insurance, an Insured Person is forced to cancel, curtail or alter any part of a planned journey prior to the commencement of that journey as the direct and necessary result of any specified cause, the policy will respond in accordance to the Insured Person’s policy. The outbreak of an epidemic or pandemic is not noted as a Specified Cause in the policy wording.

If a travel cancellation or disruption loss occurs, please first contact your travel agent, airline and accommodation provider to seek a refund or make alternate travel arrangements. After this, if you still have a loss, you may wish to submit a claim along with the original and amended itineraries for consideration by Chubb.
