Allyn J. Lowell,

Allyn J. Lowell is an employment attorney in the Employment Practice Group of the Dallas House Counsel firm of Meaders & Alfaro.  Ms. Lowell is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has focused her practice on defending management in employment matters throughout her career.  Ms. Lowell has litigated claims arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Equal Pay, ERISA, the Texas Labor Code, National Labor Relations Act, and varied other wrongful termination claims arising under federal and state statute and common law.  Ms. Lowell has significant experience advising employers on restrictive covenants and litigating the enforcement of such covenants post-termination.  Ms. Lowell has represented employers across a broad range of industries, including airline, technology, telecommunications, education and manufacturing, and has substantial experience representing healthcare providers in labor and employment matters involving both unionized and non-unionized workforces.  In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Lowell has regularly advised and trained management clients on state and federal labor and employment compliance issues.

Before joining Chubb's House Counsel, Ms. Lowell was an attorney in the Dallas office of Ford Harrison LLP - a prominent national labor and employment firm.  Prior to joining Ford Harrison in 2008, Ms. Lowell was an associate in the Memphis Tennessee labor and employment firm Kiesewetter Wise Kaplan Prather, LLC, which has since joined Littler Mendelsohn.
