Paul McNamee is Senior Vice President, Chubb Group and Regional President, Asia Pacific. He is responsible for the general management and business results for all general insurance operations in the region, which includes Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Macao, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Mr. McNamee has more than 20 years of insurance industry experience. He was appointed Deputy Regional President and Executive Vice President, Commercial Property & Casualty, Asia Pacific in September 2013, a position he retained after ACE's acquisition of Chubb in January 2016.
Previously, Mr. McNamee was President of ACE's North America Property & Specialty Lines. Mr. McNamee joined ACE in 1995 in Australia and was named Head of Property and Technical Lines for Asia Pacific in 2002, based in Singapore. Mr. McNamee went on to become the Chief Operating Officer for ACE in Hong Kong before being posted to London in 2005 as the Executive Vice President and Head of ACE's International Property & Technical Lines business.
Mr. McNamee entered the industry in 1995, joining CIGNA Corporation's International operations in Australia.
Glen Browne is Deputy Regional President for Asia Pacific and Division President for Southeast Asia. He is responsible for the general management and business performance in six countries namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, as well as any future territories in Southeast Asia. He is also Executive Vice President and Regional Head of Accident & Health (A&H) for Asia Pacific, responsible for the management and development of the accident, health and travel insurance business in the region.
Mr. Browne has more than two decades of experience in Asia successfully managing and building businesses in developed and emerging markets. He was appointed Senior Vice President and Regional Head of Accident & Health in 2014, a position he retained after ACE’s acquisition of Chubb in January 2016. From 2012 to 2014, he was Chubb’s Country President for Thailand, where he was responsible for the growth of the general insurance business.
Before re-joining Chubb in 2012, Mr. Browne’s seven years with various insurance companies enabled him to gain in-depth marketing knowledge of the highly competitive European, Korean and Japanese markets.
He began his career in insurance in 1993 with Royal & Sun Alliance Group in New Zealand. He then joined Chubb seven years later to establish the Accident & Health business in New Zealand. At Chubb, he grew his career abroad when he moved to the regional headquarters in Singapore in 2002 and then to Taiwan a year later.
Mr. Browne holds a Bachelor degree from Auckland University. He is also a Senior Associate of the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance and is a member of MENSA Singapore.
Soledad Muné is Senior Vice President and Regional Head of International Personal Lines of Chubb in the Asia Pacific. She is responsible for the management and development of the automobile, residential, specialty personal lines and high net worth insurance businesses in the region.
Prior to her regional appointment, Ms. Muné was based in the United States and held the role of Chief Underwriting Officer for International Personal Lines, where she was responsible for the profitable growth of the automobile and residential lines of business in Latin America, Asia Pacific and the Far East.
She has held various leadership roles since joining Chubb in 2013 as Vice President, Global Product Management where she was responsible for the automobile and residential lines of business across six countries in Latin America.
After her graduation, Ms. Muné began her career as a pricing analyst at Travelers Insurance Companies Inc. During her eight-year stint, she was promoted to roles of increasing responsibility, including roles within catastrophe risk management and product management in the United States, and she was eventually made responsible for personal insurance product management all international initiatives.
Ms. Muné holds a Master’s in Business Adminstration from New York University and Master’s in Mathematics (with honors) from Central Connecticut State University. She received her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics (with honors) from Trinity College, and insurance certifications from various industry institutions.
Jason Keen is Head of Property & Casualty for Chubb in Asia Pacific. He has overall management responsibility for Chubb’s extensive Commercial Property & Casualty business across the region which encompasses three segments - Major Accounts Division, Small Commercial and Middle Market Division – and product lines including Property & Terrorism, Energy, Construction, Casualty, Financial Lines, Surety, Environmental, SME, Marine and Industry Practices.
Prior to ACE’s acquisition of Chubb in January 2016, Mr. Keen was Head of Property, Asia Pacific for ACE, a position he has held since 2014.
Mr. Keen joined ACE in 2010 as Regional Property Underwriter with oversight of the Sabotage, Terrorism and Political Violence portfolio for legacy ACE’s offices in the Asia Pacific. In 2011, he assumed the Head of Property & Casualty role for the Singapore branch. In this role, he spearheaded the business development initiatives in Singapore and helped drive the effective implementation of strategies across all product lines.
In 2013, Mr. Keen became Head of Property for Asia, and in 2014, had his portfolio expanded to include Australia and New Zealand. In his role, he was responsible for the implementation of regional underwriting strategies to grow the Property portfolio in the region.
Before joining legacy ACE, Mr. Keen was an Underwriter at Lloyd’s of London and since 2007, he has worked outside of the London market in Houston, Chicago and Singapore.
