The valuation of insurance liabilities is carried out in accordance with the Insurance Act (Cap. 142) Insurance (Valuation and Capital) Regulations 2004. Risks are grouped and analysed in accordance with lines of business described under Form G1 of the Insurance Act (Cap. 142) Insurance (Accounts and Statements) Regulations 2004 where there is sufficient data or credible volume to make projections.
