Chris Maleno is Senior Vice President, Chubb Group and Division President, North America Field Operations. He is responsible for Chubb’s field organization in North America, including 48 offices in the United States and Canada. Mr. Maleno is also responsible for implementing Chubb’s North American business strategies locally by delivering a full portfolio of capabilities and services to the company’s agent and broker distribution partners and managing these important long-term business relationships.

Mr. Maleno has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to his current position, he served as Division President, North America Major Accounts from 2016 to 2018, with responsibility for the operations of the company’s retail broker-distributed commercial property and casualty (P&C) and accident and health (A&H) insurance business for large U.S. and Canadian-based corporate and institutional customers. Prior to ACE’s acquisition of Chubb in January 2016, Mr. Maleno served as Division President of ACE USA for three years. He was appointed Senior Vice President, ACE Group, in March 2014.

From 2011 to 2013, Mr. Maleno served as ACE USA’s Chief Operating Officer. In 2008, Mr. Maleno was appointed President, ACE Casualty Risk. He joined ACE in 2007 as Division President of ACE USA Regional Operations. In this position, Mr. Maleno oversaw ACE USA’s field operations by driving distribution strategies with brokers on a national and regional basis, as well as overseeing expansion of ACE USA’s product and marketing strategy at the local level. Prior to his tenure at ACE, Mr. Maleno served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President for American Home, a unit of AIG. He also held key senior leadership positions in casualty underwriting and regional operations management at AIG and Chubb, where he began his insurance career in 1988.

Mr. Maleno received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Vermont and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Columbia University.
