Joseph S. Clabby is Vice President, Chubb Group and Chief Revenue Officer, North America Middle Market. His responsibilities include leading the company’s distribution management and expansion strategies in the middle market, with a focus on the independent agent channel.
Mr. Clabby has more than 30 years of experience in banking, brokerage and insurance underwriting. Prior to his current role, Mr. Clabby was Chairman, Chubb Bermuda and Executive Vice President, North America Field Operations. He joined the company, then named ACE, in 2001, and has also served as Division President of Chubb Bermuda and Global Accounts; President, Continental Europe, where he was responsible for the profitable growth and development of the company’s insurance businesses in 18 countries across Europe; President of Regional Operations for ACE USA, where he drove distribution strategies on a national and regional basis; and President, ACE USA West, overseeing the regional operations and executive leadership in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas and Houston.
Before joining the company, Mr. Clabby held various management positions in the reinsurance, brokerage and financial sectors. Mr. Clabby holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fordham University in New York City, a Master’s in Business Administration degree in Finance from Pace University in New York and a Master’s degree in Education from Montclair State University in New Jersey.
