ESIS is results oriented. We continually monitor, measure, and analyze trends while working closely with you to identify opportunities to positively impact your program costs.
Predictive Modeling
ESIS’ predictive modeling services are designed to help improve the outcomes of individual claims by scientifically identifying files with a propensity for severity. This approach enables us to consider additional proactive measures to reduce claim exposure. ESIS also provides advanced predictive modeling services that are focused on continuous program improvement via the execution of proactive claim intervention strategies.
The following models are integrated into ESIS claims representatives’ workflow:
Workers compensation intake models
Multiple models are run to score claim severity at intake, and then run again within the first three months to re-score the claim.
Workers compensation severity models
These models are designed to pinpoint high severity claims that have a high exposure potential, and run at three months, and again at 12 months. These cases are identified and analyzed by home office technical managers, claims representatives, and the client, to set a proactive strategy for resolution. In addition, ongoing monitoring of the file is established to help ensure efficient claim closure.
Bodily injury severity model
This model runs at six months and is designed to identify high severity claims with high exposure potential. Similar to our workers compensation models, these claims are subject to a similar process after they are identified, where they are analyzed by home office technical managers, claims representatives, and the client, to set a proactive strategy for resolution.
