The Technology Associate Program (TAP) is designed for recent STEM graduates and early career technology professionals. This program provides you the opportunity to gain hands-on technical experience working on real business projects and programs. At the same time, you'll develop leadership and communication skills, and hone your technical acumen and knowledge of the insurance industry.

As part of our program, we hire talent in emerging technology areas including: Intelligent Process Automation, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, UX/UI Design, Scrum, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Security and Cyber Security. The two-year program includes:

  • On-the-job and educational technical training to enhance skills within your chosen technology discipline
  • Business acumen and professional development training specific to technology and an understanding of our broader industry
  • Networking opportunities with technology and business leaders and TAP associate peers
  • Hackathons
  • TAP Conference, where you can connect and network with peers as well as business and technology leaders

Accelerating the ability for a job in IT

Insurance giant Chubb in 2018 launched a Technology Associate Program (TAP) to expand its talent pipeline with diverse early career professionals. The two-year program offers an accelerated induction into the insurance business, exposure to senior executives and the ability to grow as technologists, according to Julie Dillman, global head of operations.
